How tuition works
Tuition follows your child's age group, the schedule you choose and the days of the week. Infants and twos have more adults with them than older groups, and that shows in the figure. We go through the figures with you at the tour.

Registration
Registration opens your child's enrollment file and goes in with the application. It is due when you accept a place, and it renews each spring.

Holding a place
When a place opens we call the family and hold it for a few days. To keep it until the first day, a family pays to hold the place, and we tell you at the tour whether that counts toward the first month. Waitlist spots are offered in the order families joined.

Billing
Tuition is billed monthly, with optional autopay. Meals, snacks and any gear we lend are billed on the same statement, with each one named.

Withdrawing
We ask for a month's written notice before a child leaves, so that the place can be offered to the next family on the waitlist. We go through a month in progress with you when you tell us.
Some costs sit beside tuition, and we name each before you enroll. Meals and snacks are cooked in our kitchen. Families bring boots, rain gear and two sets of spare clothes, and we keep a shelf of loaners for the child who forgets. Field days to the creek and the farm stand are billed on their own.
